"QT Jazz; Atlanta's Pop Princess"

Singer, dancer, actress, fashionista, and reporter, Jasmine "QT Jazz" is more than just your average 19 year old. She is wise beyond her years and works as a reporter for Sprite Pour which spotlights talented young urban fashion designers, street artists, musicians, and more. She is also a representive for Coke where she has talked to kids around Atlanta. When she is not reporting or mentoring youth, you will find her in the studio working on her music. Her smash hit, "At Your Best Remix" is her tribute to Aaliyah, and is rocking the airwaves. If you think "QT Jazz" is new to this industry you would be wrong, she started at the early age of 3 singing and dancing around the house in front of her mother (who by the way is the business manager to a few high profiled singers), such as Xscape, Tamar Braxton and the Braxton sisters. When I asked QT what her first big performance was, she explained that she opened up for the Cleveland Cavaliers by singing the National Anthem and that it was an "Aww" moment for her. She did say that while she was not nervous she was a bit shaken up at first because it was during the time that LeBron and Shaq were playing and the arena was packed with so many people. QT Jazz has opened and worked with artists like Mindless Behavior, B.O.B, Lil Wayne, Monica and more.

She is a mentee of TI and Tiny Harris and says it was pretty normal growing up around them and knows them as Uncle TI and Auntie Tiny. Her best friend Zonnique who is TI and Tiny's daughter along with Bahja and Kelsie recently did the Xscape "Understanding (Remix)"

I got chills after hearing the remix because QT's vocals are incredible!

On a recent media press call , QT Jazz graciously answered all of the Journalist questions. By the end of the call she said we were all family and that she was glad to get her story out to us. Imagine that, after speaking with her for only an hour and half, I did get a sense of being family because she was so humble and down to earth.

As far as expanding her brand, QT gave me the exclusive by stating that she wants to expand QT Collection to include nail polish and makeup. Her lip gloss collection can be purchased on her website http://www.qtjazz.com/store-qtcollection. Don't wait to long because this lip gloss line is so popular it sells out really fast. She also wants to expand her brand into designing clothing and goes on to tell me that her outfit that she wore to the BET Experience was actually designed by her and her team. I was surprised when she stated the outfit was made from upholstery. You would not be able to tell because the outfit is fabulous!

When I asked if she would ever do a reality show, she did start out by saying that "there has been a lot of interest for her and her Mom to be a reality show. It's not an idea that I am totally against." QT has made appearances on TI and Tiny's reality show. The Pop Princess was excited to mention that she has a Birthday coming up on October 9th where she will turn 20. She plans to spend it with friends and family. I was so impressed with all the accomplishments of this young lady and how positive she is. QT has a bright future ahead of her and I can't wait to see what else in store for this superstar in the making. ~~
